I made this (these?) pedal(s) - The ‘Noizer’!!! Pedal Parts Australia provided the PCB based on ZVEX’s’ Fuzz Factory. A heavily modified and unpredictable fuzz face effect, you can go from ZZTop tones to unwieldly oscillation bordering on a synth. I love these fuzzes, not just for the sound but for the beautiful colours and designs.
This pedal was another slog to troubleshoot (I promise I’m better at soldering now guys), to the point where I thought I’d irreparably damaged the PCB. After ordering a new board, I looked over at my desk and immediately found the problem leading to two crazy insane fuzz pedals. Time to start an experimental psychedelic noise I guess.
