Furry lil Fuzz - A friend of mine and I got to talking about repairing his old Dunlop mini FuzzFace that had long had its volume control broken. During this conversation someone mentioned ‘ha that pedal looks like a pug kinda’. What followed was a wave of enthusiasm that led us to the gameplan. Design a Fuzz Face based circuit, build the effect in the old enclosure and repaint it to look like my friend’s pet pug. What results is the PugFace. A Darlington-based FuzzFace, that not only sounds great but is goofy, stupid but cute.
