I got to talking to the whiz behind The Confectionary studio in Newtown about making a punchy drive for his bass tone. After sampling what we have at BJFX HQ we mixed and matched a bunch of features to come up with ‘the ‘Confectionary Driver.'
Although initially based on a ‘Rat’, this pedal has been heavily modified to work in a wide variety of scenarios, perfect for studio work. We’ve added a clean blend knob to help retain bass low-end, a ‘fat’ knob as an adjustable bass response and 6 different switchable clipping options. Wowwee that’s a lot of tone shaping. This pedal is as sweet as the studio its named after.
